Bit of an odd email today

Today’s newsletter is short, sweet, and somewhat different to the rest.

One of the issues I see with a lot of people these days is a lack of patience.
β
Everything is now, now, now - We’ve probably got Amazon prime to blame for that.
β
So, I wanted to use this email to highlight the importance of patience.
β
Whether your goal is excellent health or entrepreneurial success, patience and consistency need to become your best friends.
β
Below you’ll see an image of one of my very first newsletters from all the way back in January 2022.
Now, if you’ve been with me since then you’ll have noticed a few things.

→ One being my love for long paragraphs!
→ The other being centred text!

But the most glaring thing is how much better I’ve got at writing.
β
I wasn’t terrible by any stretch back then, but man have I improved.
β
Do you know how I’ve improved?
β
I’ve invested a lot of:
β
- Time
- Energy
- Money
β
That’s how!
β
I’ve invested in two mentorship’s which has cost me 10s of thousands of pounds, and in the last few months I’ve also joined a copywriting academy.
β
But besides the financial investments, the biggest return has been on the time I’ve invested.
β
In the last few years I’ve written hundreds of emails, pieces of content, and blogs.
β
You can have all the fancy apps and whatnot, but there is no getting around the work that needs to be done.
β
If you want to become a better writer, you need to put the hours in!
β
Now, knowing this, I want you to apply this same logic to your health and fitness journey.
β
Real lasting change takes time.
β
It’s true that my coaching program has an initial period of 3 months, but that’s simply to get people in the door.

The real work only starts to take place after 9-12 months of work.

Is that time is both your best friend and your worst enemy.

Friend because you need it to become consistent and truly adopt new habits and values.

Worst enemy because it’s finite and eventually you’ll run out of it.

Why’ll you may think you have all the time in the world to achieve your health goals, in reality you don’t.

Time is your friend.
